Are You Sure It Exists?

Once upon a time, a young man was riding a horse through the forest. He was hungry and weary. He finally found a mansion and entered it. There, he noticed a lovely young lady carrying a light there. He approached her slowly, not to make her surprised. However, she looked surprised and screamed out. Gradually, the man explained his position and begged for free housing. The lady agreed, but with her suspicious look. He began going through the contents of the house and came upon a painting of a terrifying-looking guy.

The young man looked at the painting deeply and asked the lady who the guy was. She said that he was her husband, who had died a few years ago. He began attentively scrutinizing the image. Suddenly, he was startled to discover the same man from the picture looking at him with horror when he turned around. He yelled at the young man, demanding to know how he got into the residence. The young man answered that the woman had let him remain. The husband said that he had been lying since his wife died two years ago.

It was a terrifying scenario for the young man, but he noticed the lady approaching him. The husband was advised to check behind him since she was there, but he said he couldn’t see her. When the lady came to them, both the husband and wife burst into laughter, saying that it was all a joke. Suddenly, a servant appeared, claiming to have seen a corpse and a horse outside their villa. They all hurried to the scene, shocked to find the body of the young man with whom they had been speaking.

However, as they looked about, they noticed that the young man was nowhere.
